State Registration & Bonding

New York and Florida require sponsors to register and post a bond before running a game-of-chance promotion with more than $5,000 in total prizes. We handle the filings, the bonds and the deadlines.

What's included

  • A review of where entrants are eligible and your total prize value
  • New York registration, filed at least 30 days before the start date
  • Florida registration, filed at least 7 days before the start date
  • A surety bond or trust account covering the full prize value
  • Winners list filings with both states after the promotion ends
  • A review of other state rules that affect your promotion

How it works

  1. Confirm requirementsWe check your eligible states and total prize value to confirm what has to be filed.
  2. Secure the bondWe arrange a bond or trust account for the full value of the prizes.
  3. FileWe submit the registrations with the final official rules before each state's deadline.
  4. Close outAfter the promotion, we file the winners lists the states require.

Plan ahead

Because New York needs the filing 30 days before launch, your rules have to be final well before that. We recommend starting at least six weeks ahead.
